SWEATER WEATHER!

Yesterday was the 10th anniversary of me setting foot in Australia and being with my husband so we took some time out and di absolutely nothing together and it was awesome. What I noticed though was, it is definitely FINALLY sweater weather down here in the Southern hemisphere! Isolation is getting to me! Things to do with yarn AND KIDS!

If you are like me and have your kiddos home for this lockdown and are now at a loss as to what on earth you do with your kids, here's a few fun things you can do with them that involves yarn. Saturday free patterns - we all need a distraction.

Happy saturday! Lets talk lace.

When I first started learning to knit the word lace evoked table cloths, veils and curtains... and fear because of how complex it looked. Turns out, it's not that hard, some of the lacework patterns I have done in the past have been some of the most engaging and fun patterns I've attempted! The thing with lace weight shawls as well is its a shawl! Leap day free pattern saturday!

Happy leap day everyone! Its the 29th of Feb!
