Free pattern saturday - this time with something for crocheters as well!

Posted by alison miller on

I'm back again this Saturday with more of my favorite free patterns.

I am so so happy to buy patterns, I love supporting my fellow fiber artists but sometimes... something for free is just what you need. Last week I only shared one knit pattern with you all but this week I have chosen one for both the popular yarn disciplines (sorry weavers you're just gonna have to DIY I have no idea what makes a good weaving pattern), knit and crochet.

I've picked out a beautiful crochet pattern by a talented lady Johanna Lindahl, called Lost in time. A highly versatile pattern as it can be adapted to suit whatever yarn or hook you decide to use. Its got a really lovely border too which i happen to be in love with!

You can find this pattern - HERE

OR you can see other projects on her Ravelry page - HERE

The free knit pattern I've chosen to share with you all this week is actually one of the first projects I ever knit. It is the Flax sweater but the ever amazing tin can knits. I knit this in a toddler size for my then three-year-old. I LOVED IT. its an amazing pattern in so many sizes and so easy to follow especially as a beginner knitter. My child never liked it though, he cried like he was being set on fire whenever I tried to put it on him. oh well.

Additional to these free recommendations this week you can also download my own free cowl patterns now from the website here (on the pattern tab).

I've also been back in the dye saddle for the first time today and I'm super excited to share those new colours with you tomorrow! One is a brand new singles color and the other is our newest outlander installment!

Little sneaky peak of those here -

If you'd like to order your outlander club to make sure you get this latest installment you can do that HERE

Until next time love you all
